I love ancient animals-smilodon in particular-so Diego is one of my favorite characters in this prehistoric production.

In "Ice Age" (2002), the first of the superb three-part series, some traditions are established that hold true for later films in the series. I forget how many ice movies and spin offs there are now but the first one has been and will always be the best. The picture is very detailed in HD, but to be honest it was also very good on DVD as well. I remember watching this with my brothers when I was younger.

They have gone to town with this format and made excellent use of it, and its simply gorgeous and well detailed with superb balance all around it's 6 channels. Sid is a lovable clutz and poor Manny the mammoth is the reluctant leader of the strange pack. The funny moment of my life was that sid the sloth stepped at poop it was so funny it was I was going to laugh a lot in my entire life is just funny so so so funny was like stepping at urine or vomit I should know which one is the funniest stepping at poop or at urine or vomit I think stepping at poop of a turtle is the funniest in my life and the part with the birds for the watermelon I think that part is not funny but the one that sid the sloth stepped at turtles poop is the funniest and that Sid the sloth said hey white life curb it next time I thought that Sid the sloth said hey whiter garbage next time Set during the Ice Age, a sabertooth tiger, a sloth, and a wooly mammoth find a lost human infant, and they try to return him to his tribe. The animation is a bit dated now but the movie is still sweet and full of the fun I remember. A goofy sloth (Lugiezamo) and a kind wooly mammoth (Ray Romano) rescue the child and attempt to find his parents, joined by a sly tiger (Denis Leary) who at first is planning to lead all of them into a corner so his tiger friends can help get the child back and eat the mammoth.
